Wilshere Pulls Out Of Comeback Game
Jack Wilshere pulled out of Arsenal’s friendly match with Birmingham today.
Wilshere was scheduled to play in the behind closed doors match, but wearethenorthbank.com understands that he did not feature due to further complications with his return to fitness following his well documented ankle injury.
Wilshere was also earmarked to feature in Arsenal’s reserves match against Newcastle next Tuesday and were set to schedule another behind closed doors match next week, but it remains to be seen if Wilshere will now play any part in either match.
Meanwhile Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Marouane Chamakh, Lukasz Fabianski, Carl Jenkinson, Conor Henderson and Andre Santos were amongst those that took part in today’s friendly against Birmingham.
It’s annoying that every single slight development with Wilshere’s injury is publicised. I don’t wanna put any pressure on the lad, as long as he’s back fully fit for next season I’m happy.
I’d rather we take it slow with him and not rush him back this season. If he comes back this season then england will prob pick him for the euros and that crazy stuart pearce will prob pick him for the olympics too which will ruin next season for him.
Lets write him off this year and just focus on bringing him back for august.
Now I don’t think he should play until next season
