Shock Arsenal Return For Lehmann
Jens Lehmann will sign for Arsenal as emergency cover for the injured Wojciech Szczesny and Lukasz Fabianski in time for the crucial match at West Brom.
The ex-Arsenal No1 has accepted Arsene Wenger’s call for help following Szczesny’s tendon damage to a dislocated finger suffered at the Camp Nou last week and will provide cover for Manuel Almunia.
Lehmann, 41, has been at London Colney on a placement for his Uefa A coaching Licence and will now rejoin Arsenal having left for Stuttgart in 2008.

Former Arsenal Legend Bob Wilson told talkSport that Lehmann would be a great asset for Wenger and Arsenal: “Jens would be incredible in the dressing room and I do believe he is fit enough to play anyway,” said Wilson.
“I did speak to him about a month ago and he was more or less saying it was time he needed to spend a little bit more time with his family, because his life had been football, but he was incredibly fit looking.
“He looked no different from when he played with us and we know he’s a conscientious animal. And my goodness me what an input he would have in the dressing room, having been part of the Invincibles team.
“I think he would very quickly get into his shot-stopping, you just do not lose that. You only have to look at Edwin van der Sar to see how he was man of the match on Sunday.
“For Jens to be within the Arsenal set-up at this crucial run-in time I think it could be terrific.”
