Barca Struggling To Finance Fabregas Deal
Barcelona’s pursuit of Cesc Fabregas has hit the buffers as they don’t have the capital to sign him.
The Catalan club are continuing their discussions with Arsenal today although wearethenorthbank.com understands that Barcelona do not currently have the funds to complete the deal.
They are still finalising the transfer of Udinese winger Alexis Sanchez and part of the hold up with that deal is due to Barca wanting to pay the first instalment of the agreed fee at the end of September.
Barca are looking to sell players in order to finance a move for Fabregas, with Bojan set to complete a move to Roma for €9million.
Barcelona have already had a £27million bid turned down as Arsenal value Fabregas at £40million.
Hilarious that they’d rather sign another forward (when they just got Villa) instead of making Fabregas a priority..again. If I were Cesc, I’d be quite upset about that.
Have Barcelona even officially sold Ibrahimovic yet? Maybe if they sold the deadweight, the likes of Bojan, Maxwell, Milito, they would be able to afford Fabregas. Arsenal must stand firm on the valuated price!!
